We are looking for a DebtBlue is seeking a Executive Vice President of Marketing that will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This leader will oversee all marketing functions, including brand management, digital marketing, content, product marketing, and customer engagement, and will collaborate closely with sales, product, and operations teams. The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing leader with a track record of delivering results, optimizing campaigns, and building world-class teams.

What you'll do:

Strategic Leadership and Vision:

  • Develop and lead the company's overall marketing strategy, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Spearhead marketing initiatives to position Debtblue as an industry leader, enhance brand reputation, and drive long-term growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, industry trends, and new channels to expand market reach.

Brand and Product Marketing:

  • Shape and oversee the brand's voice, positioning, and identity across all touchpoints to ensure consistency and high engagement.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, services, and features, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demand.
  • Drive product adoption and customer engagement through impactful messaging, value propositions, and compelling marketing campaigns.

Digital Marketing and Demand Generation:

  • Oversee digital marketing strategies to optimize acquisition, retention, and conversion across digital channels, including social media, paid media, SEO, and email marketing.

  • Establish a data-driven approach to demand generation, utilizing analytics to optimize campaigns, maximize ROI, and identify areas for growth.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to direct reports, empowering them to take ownership of their functions and grow their careers.
  • Align department goals with organizational objectives, encouraging teamwork across departments, particularly with sales, product, and finance.

Budgeting and Performance Management:

  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize impact and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Present marketing performance and strategic recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Executive Leadership:
  • Work closely with other members of the executive team to align on company strategy, product launches, and business development opportunities.
  • Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson, representing Debtblue in industry forums, events, and partnerships.

What we are looking for:

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of marketing experience with a minimum of 8 years in an executive or senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling marketing teams in high-growth companies.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, brand management, product marketing, and customer segmentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven marketing strategies and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a track record of executive-level presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services.
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market conditions and pivot marketing strategies as needed.
