DebtBlue is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retention Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of financial hardship, and a compassionate approach to client management. Your primary role will be to retain clients through effective communication, problem-solving, and negotiation, ensuring they remain engaged and satisfied with our services.

Pay: $17.00/HR

Hours: 9:00 - 6:00 pm

What you'll do:

  • Identify reasons for cancellation requests and proactively offer solutions to address clients' concerns, aiming to retain their business.
  • Conduct client satisfaction surveys and follow-up calls to gather feedback and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and modifications to settlement plans as needed to prevent cancellations.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of staying enrolled in the program and the potential consequences of leaving early.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of industry regulations, company services, and effective retention strategies.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in customer service, retention, or a related role, preferably in the financial services or debt settlement industry.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to empathize with clients facing financial difficulties.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
